課程概述

A systematic approach to planning, scheduling and controlling organizational activities; timelines, budgets, and quality criteria. To develop an understanding of the concepts and techniques of managing projects. Topics will include, project selection, the role of the project manager, budgeting, scheduling and control, negotiation and conflict resolution, and project management software tools. An emphasis on case analysis and discussion will be used to collectively interpret the material.  

課程目標
1. To develop an understanding of the concepts of Project Management
2. Concepts discussed include: Economic Analysis of Projects; Multiple-criteria Evaluation Methods; Organizational Structures and Work Structures; Project Scheduling; Budget Management; Resource Management and Control.
 
課程要求
Examinations
There will be three exams during the semester. Exams are not cumulative. Calculators are allowed. Exams may short answer questions, open-end questions and problems based on the concepts presented in the text, lectures, and case discussions.
